Kyung Hee University was selected as a project execution institution in the field of drug efficacy evaluation among the 'Regulatory Science Talent Cultivation Project' held by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in 2021 after fierce competition with leading domestic universities. Accordingly, the Department of Regulatory Science was established in the general graduate school, focusing on nurturing experts in regulatory science at the master's and doctoral level who can lead the field of drug efficacy evaluation.
Regulatory science is the field that develops new tools, standards and approaches to evaluate the safety, efficacy, quality and performance of products. At a time when the bio-health industry is emerging as one of the key industries that will lead the nation's innovative growth, nurturing experts in regulatory science, who are key talents with the ability to develop innovative evaluation technologies for bio-health products, is needed to enhance the competitiveness of the bio-health industry.
